Owls’ Preamchuen Named Top Golfer for November

MACON, Ga. – Kennesaw State’s Ket Preamchuen won the first Atlantic Sun Golfer of the Month award in school history after taking second at the Challenge at Onion Creek, the conference announced on Wednesday.

GOLFER OF THE MONTH:
Ket Preamchuen, Kennesaw State (So. – Chachoengsao, Thailand – Sports Management)

  • First A-Sun Golfer of the Month award.
  • Finished second at the Challenge at Onion Creek, posting a score of 70-71-74=215 +5.
  • The field featured 11 teams in the top-100 and two in the top-50
  • Led Kennesaw State to a sixth-place finish to conclude the Owls fall season.
  • Ket’s second place finish was better than nine golfers ranked in the Golfstat top-200.

 

OTHER NOMINEES:

  • Alexandria Buelow (So., Stetson) – Led Stetson to team title at Hatter Classic; finished third
  • Briana Carlson (So., FGCU) – Had top-10 finishes at Pat Bradley Invitational and Stetson Invite
  • Shay Sullivan (So., Belmont) – Finished in a career-best tie for 11th at the UAB Fall Beach Blast
