Senior Sandra Angulo led the way for the Camels, shooting 3-over-par 75, but teammates Sarah Bejgrowicz, Michelle Koh and Kaylin Yost followed right behind, each shooting 4-over-par 76. The Camels, eight-time A-Sun champions, opened the round with the four scoring members of the squad carding a combined 6-over-par on the front nine, and the quartet endured increasingly blustery conditions in the second half of the round to card the day’s best score by five strokes.
