FGCU's Price is Right, Earns Weekly Women's Golf Honor

MACON, Ga. – FGCU sophomore Georgia Price finished in a tie for ninth to record her third top-10 finish of 2012 while helping the Eagles to a seventh-place finish at the Pat Bradley Invitational to earn A-Sun Women's Golfer of the Week honors.

WOMEN’S GOLFER OF THE WEEK: Georgia Price, FGCU (So. – Winchester, England – Communication)

• Led FGCU to a seventh-place finish at the 35th Annual FIU Pat Bradley Invitational

• Finished in a tie for ninth place overall (72-78-74/224)

• Tallied her third top-10 finish of the fall season (6th at the LPGA Xavier Invitational, 1st at the Jacksonville Courtyard Classic)

• Leads the team in stroke average (76.44)

OTHER NOMINEES:

• Kaew Preamchuen, Kennesaw State – Competed in two tournaments and recorded a 74.0 stroke average while playing six rounds...Tied for seventh at the Susie Maxwell Berning Classic (74-75-70= 219)...Followed with a tie for 20th at the Las Vegas Collegiate Showdown (74-79-72=225)
