Lipscomb's Parker Claims #ASunWGolf Weekly Honor

Wednesday, October 30, 2013

MACON, Ga. - Lipscomb's Miriam Parker tied for first place and led the Lady Bisons' charge to a second place team finish in the 14-team field at the Braun Intercollegiate to earn #ASunWGolf Player of the Week honors.

Parker opened the tournament with a one-under-par 70 – one of only two rounds under par in the first round – and finished with a two-round total of 144 (+2). Even after shooting three-over-par in the final round due to a two-stroke penalty, Parker picked up her first career medalist honor and also garners her first career A-Sun Golfer of the Week accolade.
