Friday, February 26, 2010 JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. - The 2010 Atlantic Sun Indoor Track & Field Championships have kicked off with the start of the combined events from the David E. Walker Track inside the ETSU/MSHA Athletic Center. JU's Stacey Young claimed the pentathlon title holding off Kennesaw State's Christie Leverette and teammate Charlene Charles. The high jump propelled Belmont's Matt Fiedler to the day one lead in the heptathlon. Afternoon events include the men's pole vault, 3,000-meter run, long jump, the shot put and the distance medley relay. Women's events contested in the afternoon include the 3,000-meter run, the long jump, the shot put, the high jump, and the distance medley relay. ETSU's men enter as the defending championships while Jacksonville's women eye a fifth consecutive title. Follow all the live results here.
