Jacksonville's Natasha Harvey earned an NCAA Provisional Qualifying mark in the long jump with a leap of 20'-9.75" at the Tom Jones Memorial Classic.

MACON, Ga. – Jacksonville long jumper Natasha Harvey became the second Dolphin to earn an NCAA Provisional mark in an event by jumping a distance of 20-9.75" at the Tom Jones Memorial Classic last weekend in Gainesville, Fla. She defeated the rest of the collegiate competitors and for her effort, she earned her third career Indoor Athlete of the Week award, the conference announced on Wednesday.
Harvey, a junior exercise science major from New Haven, Conn., joined fellow junior Shaquania Lundy as Dolphins with NCAA Provisional qualifying marks. Lundy did so in the triple jump at the Clemson Invitational one week earlier. Harvey’s jump ranks as the third-best jump in the country so far.
