NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Sometimes no matter how hard a team tries the other team wins.

Such was the case Friday night as the Lady Bisons soccer team lost 1-0 to visiting Austin Peay in front of an impressive crowd of approximately 200 fans at the Lipscomb Soccer Complex. The game was also shown live on A-Sun TV video streaming, the first even offered by Lipscomb in the new package for fans.

Neither team scored in the first half as Austin Peay out-shot the Lady Bisons 14-7. Austin Peay also held a 6-1 shots on goal edge in the half.

Ashley Beck scored the lone goal in the game at the 46:41 mark.

In the second half the Austin Peay again made 14 shots while the Lady Bisons managed two. Austin Peay had three shots on goal. The Lady Bisons were credited with one.
