MACON, Ga. – North Florida rebounded from the opening week of Atlantic Sun Conference play to earn two crucial home wins against Mercer and Kennesaw State. Carolina Lencina scored two goals against the Bears before tallying an assist on the game-winner vs. Kennesaw State, while goalkeeper Megan Dorsey stopped all shots in two shutout wins as the duo earned the A-Sun Women's Soccer Player of the Week awards.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK:
Carolina Lencina, North Florida (So. – Forward – Buenos Aires, Argentina – Criminal Justice)
• Second Career Player of the Week award; first this season
• Scored first two goals in 4-0 win against Mercer on Friday
• Assisted on Kathryne Husted's game-winning goal against Kennesaw State on Sunday
• Leads the A-Sun with six points in conference matches

OTHER NOMINEES:
• Ramey Kerns (So., ETSU) – Scored game-winner vs. Belmont; earned assist vs. Lipscomb
• Kat Hunter (Sr., FGCU) – Netted game-winner on the road vs. Stetson
• Dani Stolt (Sr., Belmont) – Totaled two goals on the weekend including one game-winner
• Danielle Bethke (Sr., Lipscomb) – Registered three points on the weekend with game-winning goal vs. USC Upstate

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK:
Megan Dorsey, North Florida (So. – Goalkeeper – Melbourne, Fla. – Health Science)
• Second Career Player of the Week award; second of the season
• Picked up two shutouts home wins against Mercer and Kennesaw State
• Stopped seven shots on the weekend including two on breakaways
• Shutouts were fourth and fifth of her career

OTHER NOMINEES:
• Caitlin Gaughan (Sr., ETSU) – Combined for four saves in two ETSU wins
• Stephanie Powers (Sr., FGCU) – Earned fourth-straight shutout in 1-0 win at Stetson
• Nicole Berner (So., Lipscomb) – Stopped seven shots in two games; earned third shutout of the season
• Erin Zerio (Jr., North Florida) – Recorded season's first shutout in 2-0 win against USC Upstate
