• Last weekend, the A-Sun saw an offensive explosion as six teams scored at least three goals in a match with FGCU and Stetson achieving the feat twice. FGCU led the way with 12 goals in two contests, while Stetson (9), ETSU (6), Jacksonville (5), North Florida (4) and USC Upstate (3) all chipped in for the offensive outburst.

• Four teams clinched spots in the 2011 A-Sun Women's Soccer Championship last week with FGCU, Jacksonville, ETSU and North Florida locking in spots. This weekend, only two spots remain with five teams still vying for the championship berths.

• With wins against USC Upstate and Stetson last weekend, FGCU extended its A-Sun unbeaten streak to 20 games, which is second-longest in conference history. The last time, the Eagles dropped a conference contest was Oct. 16th, 2009 against Belmont, 2-0. During that span, the Eagles are 17-0-3 and have scored 51 goals, while only yielding three. Only one team has a longer unbeaten streak in the history of the A-Sun; UCF - 24 (1996-2000).

• This weekend, two players registered hat-tricks as ETSU's Jenna Caudle and Stetson's Kait Jones found the back of the net on three occasions. Caudle scored thrice against the Hatters on Friday, while Jones tallied her three scores against USC Upstate on Sunday. It marked the third and fourth time this season that an A-Sun player has accomplished the feat.
