MACON, Ga. - The no. 3 Campbell women's tennis squad edged no. 6 Belmont,
4-2, in the final quarterfinal match on Thursday.
Belmont (6-9) started off well taking the doubles' point, but Campbell (13-7)
battled back winning four of five singles' matches in earning the victory.
Nina Surviladze (no. 3) and Anita Dajc (no. 5) squeaked by their opponents in
three-sets. Iva Stojancev and Liza Bensimon each picked up singles' victories
for the Fighting Camels.
The Fighting Camels will battle no. 2 Stetson, Friday at 2 p.m. in Macon.
