The most competitive A-Sun women’s tennis title race in recent history found ETSU finishing the regular season with the upper hand, claiming the No. 1 seed in this week’s Women’s Tennis Championship.

However, the 9-1 Bucs just edged No. 2 Campbell (8-2) and No. 3 UNF (8-2) for the regular season title, while No. 4 Stetson (7-3) and No. 5 Kennesaw State (7-3) still held title hopes heading into the last two weeks of the regular season. No. 6 Jacksonville (6-4) rounds out the field.
