Vera Shkundina Picks Up Fourth Career Women's Tennis Honors

MACON, Ga. – Kennesaw State senior Vera Shkundina gets her fourth career Atlantic Sun Player of the Week Award, announced by the league office on Wednesday. Shkundina helped lead the Owls to a 2-0 week with wins in the No. 1 singles and doubles position. Shkundina has totaled 103 singles victories in her career as she passed the 100-win mark on Feb. 11.

• Fourth Career A-Sun Player of the Week award
• Went a combined 3-1 leading Kennesaw State to two road wins over Wofford and Presbyterian
• Was perfect in singles action as she picked up two wins at the No. 1 spot taking both matches in straight sets
• Went 1-1 at No. 1 doubles against Presbyterian and Wofford
