ETSU's Jaime Named Scholar-Athlete of the Year

MACON, Ga. – The Atlantic Sun Conference honored Paula Jaime of ETSU as the Women's Tennis Scholar-Athlete of the Year to highlight the league’s Academic All-Conference team.

Jaime helped the Buccaneers clinch the No. 2 seed in the conference championship by posting an 8-1 conference record at No. 1 singles. Jaime has a 3.80 GPA while majoring in management.

The A-Sun introduced the new sport-by-sport Academic All-Conference teams this fall to recognize student-athletes who embody the conference’s mission of Building Winners for Life. All the members of the team boast a 3.30 cumulative grade point average (GPA) or better and participated in at least half of their team’s games.
