Spartans' Kuerten Earns First Career A-Sun Tennis Honor

MACON, Ga. – USC Upstate's Constanze Kuerten picked up her first career Atlantic Sun Women's Tennis weekly award as she helped the Spartans to a 6-1 victory vs. Wofford to move the Spartans to 3-2 on the season.

  • Picked up wins at No. 3 singles and doubles vs. Wofford
  • Helped Spartans defeat the Terriers, 6-1, on Wednesday
  • Won 6-0, 6-0 in singles play and 8-2 in doubles
OTHER NOMINEES:
  • Andrea Crespo (Fr., Stetson) - Improved to 2-0 in both singles and doubles with wins vs. Charleston Southern
  • Salma Dahbi (Jr., ETSU) - Secured the clinching point in 4-0 win vs. Liberty in No. 5 singles
  • Virginie Stein (So., Kennesaw State) - Went 2-0 at No. 1 doubles with partner Alexandra Apostu
  • Morgan Bechtel (Sr., FGCU) - Helped Eagles defeat FAU with wins at No.1 doubles and No. 3 singles
