MACON, Ga. – Stetson's Diana Bukajeva captured the Atlantic Sun Women's Tennis Player of the Week honors after extending her singles winning streak to 13 matches, which dates back to last season.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK:
Diana Bukajeva, Stetson (Jr. – Riga, Latvia – General Business)
  • Second Career A-Sun Player of the Week honor; first this season
  • Went 3-0 in singles play without dropping a set at No. 3
  • Helped Hatters to a 2-1 week to improve record to 5-4 on the year
  • Has won 13-straight singles matches dating back to last season
  • Also earned two doubles victories
OTHER NOMINEES:
  • Jana Hueckinghaus (So., Kennesaw State) - Notched her fourth win of the season in singles and added doubles victory
  • Jenny Borck (So., Lipscomb) - Earned three wins in singles play at spots three through five
  • Lyn Yee Choo (Fr., ETSU) - Extended winning streak to five matches and earned 20th win of the season
