ETSU's Choo Lands Final #ASunWTen Player of the Week

MACON, Ga. – ETSU's Lyn Yee Choo collected her second career Atlantic Sun Women's Tennis Player of the Week Honor after finishing the season a perfect 8-0 in conference play.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK:
Lyn Yee Choo, ETSU
 (Fr. – Kuching, Malaysia – Pre-Pharmacy)

  • Second Career A-Sun Player of the Week honor; second this season
  • Extended her singles winning streak to 15 matches and doubles winning streak to 12 with a perfect 4-0 weekend
  • Helped the Lady Bucs go a perfect 8-0 in A-Sun play and win the regular season championship
  • Moved up from No. 3 to No. 2 singles, defeating Mercer's Lucie Payrat and KSU's Jana Huekinghaus
  • In doubles, she and Garbasi earned two more wins and moved up to No. 63 in the ITA National Doubles Rankings

  • Virginie Stein (So., Kennesaw State) – Went 4-0 over the weekend for the the Owls
  • Bettina Botha (So., FGCU) – Finished 4-0 in singles and doubles for the Eagles this week
  • Diana Bukajeva (So., Stetson) – Won her two matches in straight sets for the Hatters this week
