Stupak Keeps Unbeaten Streak Alive

MACON, Ga. – ETSU junior Yevgeniya Stupak remained unbeaten for the spring last week with a singles win against Mississippi State. On Wednesday, the junior earned the second Player of the Week honor of her career the conference office announced.
Stupak continued her dominant play this spring improving to a 4-0 singles mark as ETSU fell at No. 65-ranked Mississippi State, 4-1 Saturday. After taking a 3-2 lead outdoors in the first set before a inclement weather delay, the No. 74th-ranked junior continued her red-hot play indoors making quick work of former NCAA second-round participant Martina Banikova in straight sets, 7-5, 6-0.

Anna Novo, USC Upstate (Carcas, Venezuela – Sr. – Information Management) – Novo finished off a 6-4, 6-3 win over Kayla Schwenk at No. 1 singles against the undefeated UNC Wilmington Seahawks on Friday.
