Dolphins' Singleton and Camels' Natt Earn Awards

MACON, Ga. – Jacksonville’s Unique Singleton earned Atlantic Sun Track Athlete of the Week with the league’s top 200-meter time while Campbell’s Nadia Natt leaped to the field honor.

Singleton, a junior marketing major, won the 200-meter at the JU-UNF Dual with a conference-leading time of 24.10 inside of a 1.7 head wind. The Kissimmee, Fla. native also ran the third leg of the 4x100-meter relay that posted a time of 44.86 for a first-place finish, which ranks first in the A-Sun and 10th in the East.

Natt again reset the Campbell triple jump record on Saturday at the Liberty Twilight while taking her third win of the outdoor season. The freshman registered a 12.31 meter mark in the event, surpassing her 12.21 meter performance, which stood as the previous CU record. The mark stands as the second-best in the conference so far this season, coming just short of Kennesaw State's Jill Arthur, who notched a 12.38 meter jump. Natt also claimed fifth in the women's long jump with a personal record of 5.58 meters Saturday.

Baillie Locke, Campbell (Jr. - Distance - Wiarton, Ontario, Canada) – Locke took her first win of the 2010 outdoor season with a victory in the Liberty Twilight 5000 meter run. The junior claimed a CU season-best 18:31.45 in the event to take the win, edging teammate Diana Norden's time of 19:07.14.

Hillary Crook, Jacksonville (Jr. - Throws - Mansfield, Mass. - Physical Education) – Crook paced the Dolphins at the JU-UNF Dual by winning the shot put (44’3.25”) and the hammer (128’8”). The Mansfield, Mass. Native’s shot put toss ranks first in the A-Sun.

Shelby Hines, Kennesaw State (So. - Sprints - Marietta, Ga. - Biology) – Hines set a Kennesaw State outdoor program record in the 200 meters at the Georgia Tech/Clemson duals Saturday, finishing third in the event with a time of 24.55 seconds. The Marietta, Ga. native also teamed up with three other Owls to help set the program record in the 4x100 relay with a time of 47.58 seconds, leading to a runner-up finish in that event.

Jessica Lumpkin, Kennesaw State (Jr. - Throws - Calhoun, Ga.) – Lumpkin posted a pair of runner-up finishes in the shot put and hammer throw with tosses of 12.30 meters (40’4.25”) and 48.63 meters (159’6”) at the Georgia Tech/Clemson Duals Saturday in Atlanta. The junior’s performances helped Kennesaw State to a victory against Clemson.
