GREENSBORO, N.C. – Mackenzie Howe finished 20th in the 10,000-Meter Run at the 2010 NCAA Eastern Preliminary Round of the Track & Field Championship on Thursday night to lead A-Sun women’s competitors.

On the men’s side, Harold Sims and Duronal Monal advanced to the Quarterfinal round.

The duo stood out among nine Atlantic Sun Conference male and female student-athletes competing on the opening night of the preliminary round of competition. Competition will continue tomorrow with UNF’s Christina King debuting in the pole vault.
